The Bridesmaids

My sister Jennifer and I have shared so many experiences together from a car rally which stretched from Geneva to Monte-Carlo, to riding elephants in India and eating schnitzel in Germany; she’s one of my closest and dearest friends, a mentor and so much more. There isn’t anyone I’d rather have by my side when I say my vow’s to Kevin than her.

I met Karen in fifth grade, and since then we’ve bonded over band, braces and boys. She’s always been like a sister to me and like a fine wine; our friendship has only gotten stronger as we’ve aged. When Kevin and I first started dating I couldn’t wait to introduce him to my friends; and Karen and her husband Beau were the first. I’m so excited to have two sisters with me while I am under the Chuppah.

Angela and I were both transfer students at UT-Austin in 2001 and were assigned as roommates. We became fast friends, and we were anything but judgmental which we were both thankful for when one of us wanted to skip class. I ran my first triathlon with her, and when we were both looking for alternative careers we found Occupational Therapy together. Angela is the best, and I’m so happy she’ll be beside me on my big day.

Anya and I meet on a birthright trip to Israel. We instantly bonded, swam in the Dead Sea, climbed Masada, and walked through the streets of Jerusalem. Anya is my first Jewish girlfriend and I could not have asked for a better friend. I am honored that Anya will be sharing this special moment with me.
